Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Yamaha Golf Car team in Kennesaw, GA. This position is responsible for assisting in managing an R&D team and developing and executing strategies to support the achievement of the company's business and brand objectives for Golf Car, PTV, LSV & UTV products. This includes strategic planning, product development, marketing, sales and ongoing management. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product and services meets customer needs, achieves revenue targets and maintains a competitive edge in the market. This role will drive the development of new models and accessories and the implementation of strategic planning and decision-making process for both mid- and long-term goals and communication.

What you'll be doing:
- Assist in Managing the R&D development team consisting of managers, product planners, engineers and project managers in their efforts to plan and develop new models and accessories.
- Meet YGC's strategic planning and financial goals and targets.
- Create a team culture with clear team & individual expectations, that foster creative and innovative thinking, continued learning, and high employee engagement.
- Developing and Implementing 4P's strategy for core products & accessories.
- Product: Develop product & accessory roadmap that meets/exceeds future customer expectations.
- Pricing: Work with Business Planning and Sales divisions to develop pricing strategies and achieve YGC revenue targets.
- Place: Align long term product line goals with YGC sales channel strategies.
- Promotion: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop marketing plans, campaigns and collateral to drive awareness and demand for YGC products.
- Provide input into branding, messaging and go-to-market strategies to effectively position YGC products in the market.
- Fiscal year budget forecasting & management to maximize profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams (domestic and international), including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and service to coordinate activities and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Customer Focus: Maintain deep understanding of current and future customer needs, preferences and buying behavior within the target market. Gather feedback through surveys, interviews and other channels to continuously improve your product line and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop the MTP and LTP (3-10 yr business plan) in line with YGC goals and responsibility for strategy development, implementation and results.
- Responsible for monthly reporting to executive and leadership teams.
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 15+ years in golf/PTV, automotive or relevant industry experience
- Up to 20% travel required (domestic and international)
- Proven ability to work cross functionally with many different internal business functions and external
- organizations
- Strong analytical skills including advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, databases and reporting
- systems
- Exceptional strategy development, planning and implementation capabilities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- P&L budgeting and management
