Responsible for molds to be in condition for gel coat operation per production order specifications
JOB DUTIES:
- Clean boat molds of dust and residue
- Prepare molds for gel coat operation by masking paper patterns and taping pin stripes and /or deck and hull stripes with masking tape
- Post to mold report and gel coat report serial number and model of units run
- Advise lead and supervisor of any needed repair to boat mold
- Maintain clean working area and inform lead and supervisor of material required for operation
- Maintain department 5S standards
- Any other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work early morning hours (4:00 a.m.) and flexible hours
- Ability to perform walking, standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling for 8+ hours a day
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in heat
- Ability to work around dust, chemical, fumes and fiberglass particles
- Manual dexterity
- Detail oriented
- Have good quality habits
- Have good attendance habits
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
