POSITION SUMMARY:
Works across all department to support and lead the development of the Lean Manufacturing
initiatives. In addition, the employee will also assist in the implementation/training/sustainment of
various manufacturing processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs project work to support implementation of Lean principles in regard to all CNC /
Robotic Cutting Operations.
Evaluates work process flow using Lean Tools to improve efficiency and through-put.
Lead, assist and participate on Kaizen teams.
Train and mentor team members on Lean practices.
Develop cut programs using Engineered Drawings and Models.
Define Best Tooling Options for Efficient Machine Operation.
Evaluate Material Utilization and Adjust to meet production needs.
Develop Machine Calibration and Maintenance Requirements and ensure they are
followed.
Maintain Cut File Organization
Assist in daily/weekly/monthly activities to ensure that company objectives are meet and
maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, college course work preferred
Knowledge of Kaizen and implementation
Problem solving skills: Fish Bone and 5 Why
Process Analysis: TVP and VSM
Proficient in G-Code
Must be able to program both Single and Dual Axis Machines
