Sr. Manager Tech and Digital Transformation

Yamaha has an opportunity for a Sr. Manager of Technology & Digital Applications to join our team in Marietta, GA. This role is responsible for directing the strategy, governance, delivery, support, and continuous improvement of Yamaha's Front Office application portfolio. This role will lead application managers, employees, contractors, and strategic partners in delivering business capabilities across customer, dealer, digital, analytics, warranty, CRM, SAP, and integration platforms while driving modernization through cloud technologies, AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. This role is accountable for portfolio investment planning, service delivery, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, operational excellence, and business value realization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Working as a key IT leadership team member Responsible for planning, prioritization, and execution of front office application platforms, projects and initiatives including budgetary & resource management, support and projects. Supports strong business relationships through collaboration in matching application solutions that meet business objectives and priorities.
  • Provide leadership in the design, delivery, and ongoing support of business-critical applications, ensuring reliable L1-L3 service operations while driving modernization through automation, cloud technologies, AI and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Vendor management including selection, rate negotiations, service level agreements, issue resolution, compliance with Yamaha standards and on-time execution of SLA & project deliverables.
  • Collaborates and communicates with Business area(s) and ISD user groups at all levels. Provide status updates and other reporting or presentations related to business and ISD projects, initiatives and long-term plans.
  • Responsible for resource / staff management including hiring, performance management, and development for both employees and contractors.
  • Provide leadership and ensure adherence to accepted Divisional guidelines for project management, systems development methodologies and IT control and compliance procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities across the supported platforms (cost, quality, incident, change, request management, and ensure appropriate service levels are agreed to and managed accordingly. Communicate service level, monthly budget & financial reviews.
  • Provides strategic leadership for AI, automation, and Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives, identifying and scaling opportunities for business process optimization, generative AI adoption, and robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Perform other duties as required.

What You Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of IT experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading multiple applications configuration, development and support teams.
    Medium to large scale program and project management experience.
  • Specific experience with the supported package applications and development languages and experience supporting these business disciplines. (CRM, Warranty, Middleware, Web portal Apps, BI Reporting, PIMs, Oracle, SAP ECC ERP desired)
  • Effective strategic leadership and operational ownership for North America's application technology portfolio, ability to lead a varied group of application managers and their staff.
  • Proven experience leading innovation by introducing emerging technologies such as generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic process automation (RPA), and cloud-based tools, while ensuring strong governance.
  • Provides quality customer service and has extensive experience in the supported business process areas.
  • Effective team member with demonstrated 360 degree leadership abilities.
  • Customer and team oriented ability to work and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, analytical presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
