Title Administrator Lead

Yamaha Motor Finance, US has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Title Administrator in our Townpark Kennesaw, GA location. The position requires full proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a broad range of tasks. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of Powersports title regulations, applying skills and knowledge across various processes, procedures, and systems in addition to a deep expertise in Powersports Title Administration. The position contributes to the team's success by identifying key issues, providing innovative solutions, and acting as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Independently perform a broad range of title-related tasks, including, but not limited to, lien perfections demonstrating a high level of proficiency, expertise and minimal need for supervision.
  • Analyze complex titling issues across multiple government jurisdictions, identifying innovative and less obvious solutions to facilitate title completion with various agencies, including state DMVs, Departments of Transportation, Departments of Wildlife, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
  • Process substitution of collateral, title, and vin corrections.
  • Leverage the Title Vendor Portal to monitor title status and manage title releases, as well as perform other related tasks within the system. Provide reporting to management as needed.
  • Work closely with internal departments like Credit, Sales, and Dealers to guarantee the timely receipt of all title documents.
  • Identify key issues and patterns from partial or conflicting data in established workflows to support efficiency and effectiveness of titling administration.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound calls.
  • Assist with the release of Yamaha liens on collateral that has been paid in full according to Yamaha policy.
  • Provide training assistance and support to teammates with escalated calls and interdepartmental collaboration, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Min 3-5 years of Title Administration experience specifically in title processing, DMV documentation or administrative support within the Powersport industry.
  • Strong understanding of state-specific title and registration requirements (including electronic title systems, lien processing, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and
  • meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work within a team setting and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of Title Administration for different government jurisdictions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze partial or conflicting information.
